We are very sorry to learn of Ken's passing. We spent so many wonderful times at church and just as friends with Ken and Bernice in Nipawin before their move to Lashburn. Ken's personal faith in Jesus Christ was such a faithful testimony to so many. Please know that you are in our prayers.

Grandpa, you will be missed deeply. We will cherish our memories of fishing, having supper together, and playing crokinole. Our home has been blessed by your presence. We will carry your wisdom and your stories with us throughout our lives. I will never forget your open bible on the table whenever we went for a visit. We love you, Grandpa.
I wanted to share something I had posted on social media to my family after returning from a visit with Ken this past spring.
“We are home. It was a blessing being with Grandpa Ken. Did my heart good listening to his beautiful prayers before a meal. He said he prays for us all even the grandkids. He doesn’t know how to say all their names cause he can’t hear them but he knows them printed and prays over them all. ”

Dad, this is one of my favourite photos of you taken during our visit to Texas to see Lynett and family in 2011. You were mixing glue to achieve the correct mix. You were good at this because of your porridge cooking skill. Lots of memories were made on that trip as well as trip you and I made to Hamilton to visit Karyn. Kathi, Laura, Nola & Nadine loved your visits to Fernie.
You have always been apart of my life, the person I needed to call when babies were born, accidents happened or just to connect with. As your only daughter I have been enjoyed our connection. It has been my privilege to stay with you and nurse you back to recovery in the past few years.
