Obituary of David Carriere Constant

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

David Gene Carriere (Constant) passed away suddenly on February 26, 2025.  David was born at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon to Earl Constant and Norma Carriere.

David completed his GED 12, took a course in Karate and received a belt for his completion. He worked in The Pas, MB as a carpenter, with his cousin Aaron.

David met the love of his life Amy Fiddler. Both were blessed with their miracle baby Ericka. David loved them both so much.

As a young boy, David’s grandmother Jean instilled in him and all the other grandchildren the ways of our LORD JESUS. Granny Jean would have bible studies with the grandkids and teach them that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life John 14:6. “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6.

David loved spending time with his family and cousins. One recent visit, David visited one of his cousins and talked about his life and wanted to change and live a straight life and that he did not want to quit from wanting that freedom. He said he would pray for himself and his little family. So, with that great comfort it has strengthened our hearts knowing that Jesus heard him before he left us.

David loved spending time with his mom, sister Lysh and brothers Blair, Justin and Michael. Family was important to David. They would sit around and visit and reminisce about good times. David had many friends whom he had a great respect for.  David was known for his good heart. He was a humble, caring and respectful young man. He was always willing to help when anyone needed it.

David in predeceased by his paternal family, dad, Earl Daniel Constant, grandmother, Jemimah Constant, and uncle, Frank Constant.  His maternal family, chapans, David and Alice Goulet, grandparents, Angus and Jean Carriere, uncles, David Carriere, Raymond Dussion Sr., adoptive dad, Michael Taypayosatum Sr., and cousin/sister, Davina Carriere.
