Obituary of James Franklin

It is with a heavy heart that we share of the passing of Jim Franklin of Carrot River on March 31, in his 96^th year.  

 

Jim spent the last few years at the Carrot River Nursing home and was surrounded by loving staff who knew and appreciated his sense of humour and fun.  The family is grateful to everyone there for the kind, warm care he received while he lived there.  

 

A special thank you to the love and kindness of his most cherished friend Michelle K.  We cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support and love till the very end.

 

Jim is predeceased by his loving wife Ida (Ludwig.)  Jim has three children  Steven (Phyllis) Franklin,  Sheila (George) Sheerer and David (Laurie) Franklin. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and  13great grandchildren.

 

There will be no service at this time.  Jim will be cremated and laid to rest with his parents and family in Cambridge (Galt) Ontario.
