Obituary of John Robin

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Robin.  John is survived by his sister Jacqueline Labbe, brother Marcel Robin and many extended family members.  John was 72 years old.  He is predeceased by his mother Ila Robin, father Victor Robin and sister Sharon Wawryk.

He was an avid sports fan, whether it was Blue Jays baseball, Saskatchewan Rough Riders football or Montreal Canadian Hockey.  John was always tuned in, cheering for his teams.  He could talk about the players and the games, especially during playoff season.  He also supported the Nipawin Hawks hockey team.  He never missed any of their at home games and he would listen to their away games on the radio.  Cheering them on and giving them advise.

John was also an incredible bowler.  He didn't just bowl for fun, he bowled to win.  He competed in leagues, brought home trophies, and had a very competative edge.  He was also very proud of being a part of a team.

John loved watching movies and listening and singing along to music.  He was a huge fan of the Beatles and knew their songs by heart.

We each have our own memories of John, moments that we will always remember about him, and will remember him in our own way.
