Obituary of Linda Klassen

   Linda and her family travelled frequently. She always spoke fondly and had many great childhood memories to share with all of us. After high school and traveling for awhile, Linda attended post secondary schooling at SIAST and in 1979 received her Diploma in Nursing. Linda spent most of her career working at the Royal University Hospital in the Orthopedic Department on 5300 Ward. Later she worked under Dr. Rasput at the University of Saskatchewan as his lead clinical research nurse in Parkinson’s/Alzheimer’s research. Linda loved her life’s work. Mom was an amazing Registered Nurse.

   Linda married David John McCulloch.  Two years later on Oct.14^th, 1981, they welcomed their first child into the world, Dana Leigh McCulloch and their second daughter Carrie Anne McCulloch in 1983. Linda loved gardening and being in her beautiful yard.  It was her passion. If you didn’t know where mom was you just had to yell out towards the garden and nine out of ten times her head would pop up yelling, ‘Ya’. Later in life Linda also got bit by the travel bug. She and her eldest daughter and her sister Jacquie, travelled to tropical destinations which she enjoyed immensely. Linda especially loved spending time with her grandchildren Riley, Aiden, Hailey, Seanie and Gaige. She loved them so much.

   Linda is predeceased by her parents Frank and Anne Klassen, brother Donnie Klassen and nephew Jeffery Klassen.

   Linda is survived by her children, Dana and Carrie McCulloch, her grandchildren Riley, Aiden, Hailey, Seanie, and Gaige.  Her brothers Lorne (Gail) Klassen and Bob Klassen, and her sisters Jacquie and Jennie Klassen.  Her nephews Adan and Jeremy (Alex) Klassen and her nieces Katie (Jessie) and Makenzie Frizzle, as well as many cousins and extended family.
