Obituary of Reg Hall
Please share a memory of Reg to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Reg Thomas Hall was born in Winnipeg, MB on June 8th, 1951 and passed away on May 25, 2026. Reg put a lot of life in his almost 75 years here.
Reg grew up in many places. His family moved to Snowden in 1960 and Reg always called Snowden home. He spent a lot of time looking after the community and always did his best for the people in it.
Reg was always kind and always had a smile. He carried that kindness all through his life. He loved animals and had many pets.
At the age of 15, Reg decided he had enough of school and took odd jobs where he could. He eventually took a job for the Department of Highways, a job he did for 35 years.
Growing up and throughout his life, there wasn’t a time when Reg wasn’t injured or had some bad luck. This made Reg strong and resilient. An example of this was when he was working for the Department of Highways. He was working north of Flin Flon and a stick came through his leg, by himself, he travelled through the bush on a buggy, got into his truck and drove himself to the hospital.
Reg met and married Linda (nee Schellenberg) in 1972. Sheldon, their only child was born in 1973.
Reg loved the outdoors, especially the lake life. He loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed cooking and having beer with his friends.
Reg is pre-deceased by his parents Herbert and Evelyn Hall, his brother Dallas, his nephew Shawn and his sister Wendy.
Reg is remembered by his wife Linda, his son Sheldon (Crystal), his brother Ernest (Teri), his nephews and nieces, as well as other relatives and cousins. Whether one knew Reg for a day or for a lifetime, all his numerous friends he met along the way will remember him fondly.
