Joseph ‘Joey’ Dorion Jr. was born and raised in Cumberland House, SK to his parents Joseph Thomas Dorian Sr. and Rubina McKay. Joey was blessed with three wonderful children.
Joey was outgoing and had a lot of respect for his community. He was always ready and willing to help when it was needed. Joey did a lot of work on tires for the community; the people knew where to go. He loved his fishing and always participated in fish derby’s. Joey was known for calling people by nicknames. He always had a good name for family and friends. He always checked up on people and made sure they were okay. Joey had a dog he named “Blondie”; his dog never left his side.
Joey was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph Thomas Sr. and Rubina Dorion, his brother Gerald Dorion, brothers-in-laws, Edward Deschambeault and Michael McDonald; his nephews Bradley McDonald, and Darcy Dorion; nieces, Juanita Kitchener and Selena Kitcher
Joey is survived by his children, Sarah Lee (Thomas Buck), Michelle Lee (James Eninew), and only son Gerald Mathew Dorion, his grandchildren Rodrick, Nancy, Alex, Hilda, Thomas Jr., and Myra, James Jr., Mason and Sage, Brooklyn, Kadilaya, Gerald Jr., and twins Joseph and Dray, Robin, Sunshine, Andrea, Airy, and Sherilyn; his siblings, Nancy Gail McDonald, Michael Dorion (Glenda), Norman Dorion, Helen Deschambeault (Charlie), Kenneth Dorion, Larry Dorion (Paula), Merilyn Copp, Bernice Seeseequasis (Carl), Roland Dorion, and Tammy Dorion, and many nieces and nephews.
