Obituary of Gregory Crate

   Greg was born in Nipawin Hospital to Myrtle Pelly & Gregory Crate Sr. Greg enjoyed spending time with his oldest brother Larry.

   Greg enjoyed listening to music, sitting around the fire, and spending time with his family. Greg lived a life that was far more than the struggles he faced. To those who truly knew him, he was thoughtful, funny, protective, and capable of loving deeply. Behind the walls he built around himself was a gentle soul who longed for peace, acceptance, and happiness.

   His daughter was one of the greatest blessings of his life and she will forever carry a part of him with her. Through her, his love, his smile, and his memory will continue to live on. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will never be forgotten.

   Greg is survived by his daughter Chenyll Crate, his partner Keisha Lund. His parents; Myrtle Pelly & Greg Crate Sr. Brothers; Larry Pelly, Danny Crate, Victor Crate. Sisters; Kayla Pelly & Kianna Pelly. Uncles; Brian, Clifford & Ronald Crate. Aunties; Rachel (Donald) Fiddler, Elaine Crate.  Uncles and Aunts; Miles Pelly, Brian Pelly, Albert (Allana) Pelly, Eleanor Pelly, Valerie (Dale) Armstrong, Bernidine Klassen.  Nephews, Nieces and numerous cousins & all those who knew him.

    Greg is pre-deceased by his fraternal grandparents Robert & Melanie (Nabess) Crate, Albert Pelly Sr. Uncles Louis Nabess, Larry (Sylvia), Victor (Noella) and Danny Crate. Auntie, Lorraine Crate. Cousins; Brianna Stewart, Charmaine Crate.
