Advance Planning

The subject of funerals is never easy to consider or discuss. If you find yourself hesitating about making these plans, it’s natural. Discussing and planning for death can be surprisingly difficult.

Advance planning or setting money aside for a funeral can be one of the kindest things you can do for your family. It provides reassurance, as well as the opportunity to plan a meaningful service that reflects the unique life lived.  The wishes of the deceased, including music, flowers, type of service and other preferences are made known.

We understand that a funeral or memorial service can cause financial and emotional pressure on a family, planning in advance can help ease that burden.  It can be as simple as writing down your wishes and attaching them to your will, contacting a funeral home to discuss the many details surrounding the service, or paying for services in advance.

We, as funeral directors, can walk you through the options to help you determine what best suits your needs.  We are here to answer questions and to assist you in finding balance between your emotional, spiritual and financial preferences.
