Obituary of Emma Lois Robinson

Emma Lois Robinson (Bowman) was born in Waterdown, Ontario on August 25th, 1924. She passed from this life, with her daughters Lynne O’Connor and Helen Hulak by her side on March 5th, 2019.
Lois lived her younger years in the Carlisle, Ontario area. As a child she loved to play baseball, and swim in the Carlisle creek. She met her husband Lynn (short) Robinson and was married on October 28th, 1939.
Lois was a homemaker, but also worked out at different farms, cutting potatoes, picking vegetables, hoeing and picking apples. Lois and Short had lots of family and friends that they went to dances with and played lots of card games.
In 1978, Lois and her husband moved to Choiceland, SK. They were members of the Choiceland Seniors Club and played carpet bowling. Later they moved to the Elks Home in Nipawin, SK where they belonged to the Nipawin Seniors Club. Lois enjoyed carpet bowling, quilting, 5 pm bowling, and playing cards. Her group of friends would get together to celebrate birthdays.
Lois was predeceased by her husband Short, and 2 brothers Max and Glenn.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Max of Hamilton, Ontario, Bill of Thunder Bay, Ontario; her daughters Lynne (Jack) O’Connor of Millgrove, Ontario, Dolly (Jim) McKenna of Dundas, Ontario and Helen (Joe) Hulak of Nipawin, Sask; 20 grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren.
