With loving hearts and so many great memories, we say goodbye to Grandpa Archie, “Gramps”, loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle to many.
His love of the great outdoors and Mother Nature’s bounty were passions that he loved to pass on through patient teaching of gardening and trapping techniques that were eagerly learned and unsurpassed.
His endless teasing nature, bright smile and ready laugh will always bring a smile to those that knew and loved him.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Allan (Cheryl), daughter Debbie (Brian), grandchildren: Chandra (Pat), Chris (Becky), Destiny (Terry), Dana (Jason) and Jarrett, great grandchildren: Ramona, Gus, Quinn and Maggie. His siblings: DeWayne, Harold (Rita), Ed, Albert (Rose), Judy (Alvin), Bill (Kathy), his brother in laws: Harry (Vi) Lamberty, Ray Livingstone and his sister in laws: Betty Smith, Angie Smith and Barb Lamberty and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Yvonne, parents Ray and Beatrice Smith, brothers Gale, Don, Gerald and his sister Ellen, brother in law Jack Lamberty and sister in law Iona Livingstone.
“here is the deepest secret that nobody knows, (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of the tree called life; which grows higher that a soul can hope or a mind can hide).
And this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart…
I carry your heart, (I carry it in my heart).”
Rest in peace, we love you.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
