Obituary of Eugene Nickeson

Eugene Sylvester Nickeson was born in October 1937, to Walter & Lena Nickeson. He had 4 sisters: Doris, Leona, Terry & Eileen; and 3 brothers: Ken, Roy & Lloyd. Eugene passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Eugene worked at Misskey’s Tire Shop in Melfort, Tera Bonne Farm and the Department of Highways for 25 years. His hobbies included fishing, going for coffee, visiting, telling jokes and playing cards. Eugene was predeceased by his parents Walter & Lena Nickeson; his brother Lloyd; his infant son, Leonard; and his brother-in-law, Arnie Woolsley. Eugene is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor; his son Brian; his daughter, Brenda (Brian); his 5 grandchildren: Stephanie Lai, Tiffany Chaboyer, Curizma Friesen, Chaz Friesen, and Zach Friesen; and his 8 great grandchildren: Myla, Avery, Lucas, Scott, Ashton, Isaiah, Braelynn and Millie. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.
