Dear little Ruth - I called her my little sausage! We stayed with Ruth often when I was in that area with Marion and Margaret back in the mid 90’s. Ruth was so bright and cheerful and caring and serving others. I loved it how she would have other couples come and stay with her from nearby towns to give them each a little holiday and change. Bill and Annie from Melfort etc. Ruth loved to make a positive difference in other peoples lives. Special love to her family. From Denise (Brough) And Ralph Newman

I would like to pass my Condolences to the family. As a little boy I remember going to the corner store. With my pop bottle. And Mrs. Munro would sell us penny candy. At this time I Pray Mrs. Munro RIP. She was such a kind Person to everyone.
God Bless you all.

Sincere condolences to the Munro family. I have many many memories of time spent in the Munro home as a child growing up with my friend and classmate Elaine. Mrs. Munro stayed in touch with my family and was kind enough to attend the funerals of both my dad and mom. I am eternally grateful for her kindness over several decades. My sympathies for your loss. Eleanor Corby

So many good memories of time spent with Ruth.
They go back to 1955 and some even earlier.
Remembering her great meals and wonderful hospitality. Remembering times she and Elsie stayed with me. Remembering trips to Calgary and days spent with my Mom there. So many more. She will be missed.
My sincere sympathy to Sharon, Elaine and your families.

Sending many condolences to family of Ruth. Many good memories of time spent together. Of first becoming friends with Elaine at school. A couple years later they opened their home to me when I was just out of high school and had a job in nipawin. My parents didn’t want me living alone so spoke to them if I could stay with them. Ruth was so hospitable and kind and caring.
My name then was Ruth Wiebe
