Obituary of Audrey Budd

Arlene ‘Audrey’ Budd (nee Pelly) passed away on January 22, 2022 in Edmonton, Albert after a valiant battle with her lung transplant. Audrey was born on May 18, 1966 to Joel and Amelia Pelly in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. On December 7, 1985, she married Marcel John Budd. They had 6 children: Leon (Lesley) Budd, Lauren Budd (deceased), Chad (Josette) Budd, Jackie (Andy) Budd, Marcel ‘Bart’ Budd and Avory Carriere. Audrey went on to complete her GED 10. She also worked for both Daycares for a number of years—CHCN and Waskahiganihk. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, cooking, singing and most of all, helping people in any way she could. Audrey was predeceased by her daughter, Lauren Michelle Budd; her mother, Amelia Settee; her father, George Joel Pelly; her step-dad, Nathan Settee; her sisters: Jocelyn Pelly, Louisa Budd and Mary Buck (nee Pelly); her in-laws: Robert & Marie Budd, Jessie Budd; her nieces: Melanie Budd, Britney Pelly, Meagan Pelly, Mavis Budd, Rose Budd, Lenea Pelly and Miranda Pelly; and her nephews: Landon Stewart, and Gabriel (Shem) Budd. Audrey leaves to mourn her husband, Marcel John Budd; her children: Leon (Lesley), Chad (Josette) Budd, Jackie (Andy) Budd, Bart Budd, and Avory Carriere; her grandchildren: Danica, Vanessa, Brant, Bailey, Samara, Heaven, Jenna, Janey, Chad Jr., Jonah, Julie, Jackson, Lauren and Ava; her siblings: Ricardo Pelly, Fred (Tanya) Pelly, Corey (Diane) Pelly, Leon (Val) Pelly, Brenda (Rick) Read, and Ivy (Goose) Pelly. I love all my grandkids, daughters-in-law and my siblings-Brenda, Ivy, Leon and Corey.
