Obituary of Davina Carriere

Please share a memory of Davina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Davina Carriere, lovingly known as “chubs” by her family, was born in 1983 at Saskatoon, SK at St. Paul’s Hospital. Davina went to be with the Lord the day before her 39th birthday, what a celebration that must have been. Davina was named in memory after her late uncle David Carriere. She was a vibrant loving child growing up, with a quick wit and great sense of humor that continued on throughout the rest of her life. She attended the Charlebois School in Cumberland House and then moved to Prince Albert to continue her education at St. Mary’s high school. From there she went on to work at McArthur Mine site where she worked as a custodial worker. Davina loved spending time with family and friends and her greatest joy was the time she was able to spend with her 3 sons. Davina will be greatly missed by her family, friends and children. Davina leaves behind to treasure her memories her three sons: Colin, Aiden and Jaiden; her beautiful mother Corinne (Butch) Favel; her father Riley (Lori) Lathlin; her brothers: Chris (Andrea & Children) Lathlin, Jesse (Chelsea & Sons) Lathlin, Camacho (3 Sons, 1 Daughter) Lathlin and Cheechoo (Alexis) Lathlin; her brothers Aaron (Courtney) Carriere, Jordan (Kelsey) Carriere, and Dylan Favel; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. Davina was predeceased by her grandparents, Angus and Jean Carriere; and her uncle David Carriere.
