Gerald Alexander Shatula, died on April 17, 2017, at the age of 91. He was born April 17, 1926, in Carlea, SK to Fred and Anna Shatula. He met and married his wife Mazie and they had two children, Sherwood and Gary. They started their home north of White Fox. Gerald was busy with many things in those days including hunting/trapping, logging/sawing and farming livestock and grains.
After Mazie's death in 1968 he later went on to marry Louise and they were married for over 25 years.
As the years went on, his passion for farming became his focus and it became obvious that it was going to be something that he would do for as long as he could. He would enjoy going to the coffee shops in the mornings to talk farming and such with his friends, before making his daily drive to the farm.
Gerald was predeceased by his wife Mazie and his two sons Sherwood and Gary, his brother Harry and his sister Rose.
He is survived by his grandchildren Michelle, Natalie, Keelan, Marcie and Lydell, his great-grandchildren Kiowa and Sander, his sisters Olga, Mary, and Stella, along with many other family and friends.
