Obituary of Frank Flett

Frank Lawrence Flett, 78, died Monday April 17th, 2023 in Prince Albert, SK surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in March, 1945 in Shamattawa, Manitoba to Horace and Abigail Flett. He grew up mainly in The Pas, Manitoba, and then later in Cumberland House, SK where he & his wife Audrey raised their children. Frank & Audrey also helped raise nieces and nephews who they loved and thought of as their own. Frank received his education in The Pas, Manitoba. He was a ‘jack of all trades’ and worked in numerous places. A few places to mention are Fort McMurray, AB, Charlebois Community School as maintenance, and lastly, Ducks Unlimited where he worked for many years and shared fond memories of his time with the company. In 1983, Frank married Audrey in Cumberland House, SK. Frank loved to fish and to be outdoors. He cherished his children and grandchildren very much. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was very humorous and loving in his nature. He was a hardworking man, who always found something to do to keep busy. Frank was a perfectionist, and paid attention to detail; he did everything from making cupboards to building decks, and everything in between. His home is filled with furniture that he made in his free time. He is survived by his wife Audrey Flett; his children Michelle (George), Tanya (Rene), Tina (Jody), Larry (Orlanda), Roberta (David) and Ryan. His grandchildren, Syerra, Lennard, Jason (Jason Jr, Blakely, Baz), Chantal (Grayson, Hope, Nolan, Randy Jr), Keeanu, Frank, Jordan, Jory, Jody Jr, Aaliyah, Larry Jr, Leland, Khrystopher, Krystal, Khrystyna, Robert, Keiran, Kendyll, Kreedyn, Payshynce, Danyka, Ryan Jr, Breanna, Conan, Vander and Gracie; many nieces and nephews. His siblings: Jim Flett, Linda Flett, Donald Flett, Islay Flett, Harold Flett (Anita), Georgina Deschambeault, Kimberly Laliberty (Joseph), Alex (Marlene) Flett, Jerry Flett (Lorna), and Ted Flett (Barb); his sister-in-law, Tammy Flett. Frank was predeceased by his parents Horace and Abigail Flett; his siblings, Leonard Flett & Brian Flett; sisters-in-law, Carol Flett, Josephine Flett & Lorraine Flett; brother-in-law Angus Deschambeault; father-in-law Donald Carriere (Boosty); sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cook & Sylvia Crate; granddaughters, Tandy Deschambeault & Kelita McIntyre; nephews, Danny Flett & Keith Thomas; great-nephews, Wyatt Flett & Ethan Flett. “Frank is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.” Interment of Frank's ashes will be held at a later date.
