Obituary of Dale Peters

Dale Peters, 80 years of age, passed away peacefully on March 29^th, 2024 at Newmarket Place, Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

Dale was born in April 1943 in New Osgoode, Saskatchewan to Richard and Margaret Peters. Dale was the youngest of three children.

Dale had a full life surrounded by people who truly understood him.

He loved to drive; especially, in the country around his farm where he would tell stories of his parents and the memories each building held for him.

His love included: collecting pictures of family and replica toys and animals. He called it work, but in his later years, he loved to drive bus for Charlie Charters, driving teams of young people to their destinations.

Nothing surpassed his love for young people. His grandchildren, his nephews & nieces and the neighbor girls were always able to bring out Dale’s softer side.

Dale leaves to morn: his stepchildren, Dodd (Maria) Ulrich, Tamina (Norman) Miller; his grandchildren: Curtis Miller, Keegan Miller, Tierra Ulrich; his sister, Viola Valois; his nephews, David (Yvonne) Valois, Patrick (Marlene) Laycock, Darren (Michelle) Laycock, and Tim Laycock; along with numerous nieces and nephews; his special friends, Joyce Bacus and Tyson Ericson; and all his many friends.

Dale was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Margaret Peters; Simon Valois, Herbert and Linda Laycock; and Rick Valois.
