Obituary of Sherry Reynolds

Sherry and her twin, Sandra, were born in October, 1957 in New Westminster BC, to parents, Isabelle and Fred Reynolds. Sadly, Sandra passed away at 8 weeks. Throughout her life, Sherry often felt that a part of her was missing, which was a true testament to the bond twins share.
Sherry grew up in Carrot River, spending time in town and at her grandparent’s farm. She completed her school years in Carrot River and then attended Robertson Secretarial School in Saskatoon.
Sherry held a variety of jobs over the years in Carrot River, Tobin Lake and Nipawin. Most of her jobs were in restaurants. She was a fabulous cook. She enjoyed working with her co-workers and often chuckled about the fun they had.|
Sherry loved to travel. One of her most memorable trips was to Vancouver, where her cousins not only took her to Expo 86, but to her first NHL game.  Sherry traveled many miles in the USA with her sisters. They saw many amazing sights, experienced incredible adventures and created a life time of memories. Sherry was a Blue Jays fan, avid reader and enjoyed all types of games. She enjoyed buying lottery tickets which paid off when she won $100,000. Christmas was definitely her favorite holiday and she loved spending it with her family. Her nephews, Ryan and Jeff and their children meant the world to her.  She gave her famous chocolate cake to many people for birthdays, family events or ‘just because’.
Sherry was a kind hearted and generous woman who left us all too soon.

Sherry was predeceased by her twin sister, Sandra; her parents, Isabelle and Fred; and her brother-in-law, Gerry.

Sherry is survived by her sisters: Delores Reynolds, Shirley Reynolds, Debbie Martin, Sher (Neal) Callaghan, and Cindy McLean; her nephew, Ryan (Leanne) Martin and their children: Braylen, Kyler, and Aleaha; her nephew, Jeff (Monica) Martin and their children: Calhan and Caden; and numerous relatives.

Sherry will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

Come and Go Tea will be held on April 24th, 2024 at the Carrot River United Church, 2pm-5pm.
Everyone is welcome.
