Obituary of Caleb Head

Caleb Leighton Head was born in May 1992 in Nipawin Hospital to his parents Charlene and Elton Head.

    Caleb received his education at the Kiwaytinok Elementary School, JWHMEC and graduated in 2011. Caleb loved to play hockey and excelled in it. He played for the Carrot River Loggers Minor Hockey, Hudson Bay Hunters/Minor Hockey (got to provincial finals), Tisdale Trojans AA, South End Sabres, Shoal Lake Eagles, Red Earth Minor Hockey, Nipawin Hawks, Jr A hockey club (invited to their hockey camp), OCN, and PAGC Gold Medal/Saskatchewan Winter Games-Peewee Div. As a hockey player, Caleb travelled to and played in Quebec, Manitoba, Sask. and Alberta. He also excelled in other sports and teams, including PAGC Bantam Individual sports Golf NEESAC Jr. (won overall-Highschool provincial Golf), Slo-pitch/Fastball, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Floor hockey. Later in life Caleb loved to make beaded lanyards, medallions and keychains for family and friends who treasured the beautiful handcrafts. Caleb excelled in every opportunity given to him in his lifetime and we hope we can take this as a learning tribute of the wonderful life he lived. Caleb gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ & prayed for friends & families.

        Caleb leaves treasured memories to his children: Brock & Stefan; his parents Elton and Charlene Head; his siblings: Richmond (Tiffany) Head, Carman Head (Orva Cook), and Randell Head; sister-in-law, Marina Head; nephews and nieces: Monina (Tyrese) Mckay, Owen, Kaylynn, Ebony, Donnie, Charlton Jr., Nate and Kira, Sage, Shaylynn, Florence, Kaleela, Patton, Tarren and Gemma; his granddaughter Lilianna; he is a brother to all his cousins; his aunties/uncles Mary Young, Bernelda (Vincent) Young, Sonia (Clyde) Young, Cindy (Christopher) Rothecker, Anita (Myles) Mckay, Mark (Audrey) Head, Betsy (Henry) Crane, Dora (Harry) Young, Roy (Sandra) Head, Philip (Jacqueline) Head, Lorex (Lizette) Head, Harold (Gail) Head, Clayton (Judy) Head, Norman (Delores) Head, Larry (Janet) Head, Marcel (Darlene) Head. 

    He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Barney and Rachel Head;  paternal grandparents Ralph and Clara Head; his brothers Owen Head & Charlton Head; nephews Jonas Jr. Head, Garrett Cook and Ricardo Head, Deron Head; his uncles: Gilbert (Betty) Head, Clifford 1 & 2, Angus, Royce, Richard, Randell, Steven (Sarah) Head, Hector (Catherine) Head, Felix Young, Alvin (Rita) Head, Raymond (Patsy) Head; his aunties: Celina (Joseph) Moostoos, Maryann Head, Karen Head, Irene Head, Donna Head; his cousins: Dion Head, Kendall Head, Roderick (Jackson) Mckay, Carolene Bast and Janice Whitehead.
