Obituary of Carol Seidel

 Carol Seidel, born in July 26, 1946, and passed away peacefully October 27, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. She was married to her beloved husband, Dale, for 36 years until his passing in 2003.

From the age of six, Carol called Choiceland home. This is also where she and Dale cultivated a life filled with love, and hard work on their farm while raising Darrin. She spent many hours with Darrin, running him around for hockey throughout his childhood.

Carol enjoyed many happy years working at Grandma's Greenhouse for Mary Seaman. She and her sisters had a catering business for many years as well, and she worked for T&P Enterprises as a cook and camp attendant.

Following Dale's passing, Carol moved to Melfort in 2007 to be closer to her sisters, and she went to work for Wright's Greenhouse for several years. She was a billet for the Melfort Mustangs for many years too.

In 2017, she sold her house and moved into Legion Place. Here, she found some wonderful friends and continued to play cards and puzzles with those around her.

Summer days were especially bright when her grandchildren visited. Carol would always plan exciting outings to explore the beauty of Saskatchewan—whether it was trips to Manitou Lake, Moose Jaw, or even a memorable adventure to see polar bears in Churchill. These cherished memories remain close to Nicholas and Samantha's hearts.

2 years ago, Carol moved to Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, to be closer to Darrin and Lynette. Carol remained here until her passing.

Carol was predeceased by her husband Dale Seidel; her parents, Ella and Henry Erdman; and her parents-in-law, Helen and Frank Seidel.

Carol is survived by her son, Darrin (Lynette),of Wainwright AB;

and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica) of Grimshaw AB, and Samantha (Tristan) of Calgary AB.
