I attended Westasta when Allene was there. I was younger (87 now) and Allene was my hero, although I doubt that she knew me. Ruby and Lily Shearer were (not quite next door) neighbours and Mary Croswell is my cousin. My parents were Ella and Lester Croswell.
I live in BC and am driving home having visited Newfoundland and all provinces so far. I decided I have time to visit Daphne and on a whim looked up Westasta Valley. I was absolutely thrilled to see the reference to Allene and just want to tell her family that I remember her with such fondness
